Volunteers
There are lots of opportunities to volunteer at Statham. Parents and carers may wish to support one off projects in their child’s or other classes, including educational visits, sports events and celebration events or you may wish to offer weekly support in school to assist with reading and other curricular areas.
If you feel you would like to support in school please make contact with the school office. Volunteers are unable to begin their agreed role until the school has established what checks and induction are required and the appropriate arrangements are in place.
Induction is an essential aspect of volunteering and we would expect all volunteers to attend an induction meeting prior to supporting our pupils.
